Our Learning Program
8:45am - 2:00pm
The Bloom Academy is a unique learning community where children participate in Project Based Learning in mixed-grade groups. Teachers support the knowledge- and skills-building needs with grade-level instruction in Mathematics, Literacy, Social Studies, and the Sciences.
Additionally, students participate in Music, Lab Work, Library Science, Physical Education & Health, Cooking, and People Skills.
Morning & Afternoon Clubs
8:00am - 8:45am | 2:00pm - 3:15pm
Our Bloom Clubs give the students another opportunity to interact and learn in mixed-age groups.
Morning Clubs include:
Yoga, Walking Club, Board Games Club, Builder's Club, Reading Challenge Club
Afternoon Clubs include:
Choir, Chess Club, Creative Art Club, Life Skills Club, Health & Fitness Club, Ecology Club
The Bloom Café
This is our student-run café selling baked goods, hot and cold beverages, and other snacks. Café participation is open to 3rd - 8th Graders and runs as a business with jobs, responsibilities, and operating hours. Students interested must interview, honor their position obligations, and fully operate the Café, from baking to selling to cleaning (under the overall supervision of a faculty member).
The Bloom Café is open for business to parents and students.
